"Freddy! What's up man?"
"TIBKK! Merry Christmas! Come sit down and have some scotch with us, it's celebration time!"

It was around 10pm and I had just come down to my hotel lobby from a shower after the gym and was ready to hit the town. Freddy is an average built guy in his late-30's, from Sri Lanka, and has been coming to Pattaya for the last 5 years with his buddies from work. "Merry Christmas my friends!" he says in his big commanding voice, "What does tonight bring us?"
He sits and his lady immediately begins preparing the both of them drinks. When his glass is poured he lifts it and cheers, "Cheers my friends!" We all lift our glasses and repeat, "Choke di Cop!!"
A couple drinks in and Freddy catches me staring at Bangs, "You want?" He says as he nods to her.

"No problem my friend, we are here for fun!"

A few more drinks in and someone realizes it's already past midnight and we should probably head out to Walking Street if we are going to go. So the six of us hop on a taxi truck.
Once there Bangs almost instantly puts her arm in mine, I give Freddy a look and he gives me a thumbs up and starts laughing. We burrow through the crowd to get to Mixx on the other end of the street. where we grab a table overlooking the dance floor and order our first round.

I look over at the girl in white and see her sitting at a table with two other girls and I think, Fuck, how am I gonna pull this off? and turn back to the dancefloor and sip my black soda and convince myself I'll talk to her after I finish it.
